Take the largest head of cabbage you can find. Slice it into
thick slabs, leaving the stem intact. Mince lots of garlic and mix it with lots
of olive oil.
Brush the garlicky oil over each cabbage steak. Sprinkle with
pepper. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about an hour. Flip over once at the half
way point, being careful not to break the delicate leaves apart. Devour.
